Since the start of the Covid pandemic, we have been working diligently to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. We have taken all the necessary and recommended precautions and followed all federal CDC and NJ State guidelines to limit possible exposure to Covid. Unfortunately, despite our precautions, a staff member has tested positive for Covid-19.
We are now taking further steps above and beyond those recommended by the State of NJ and have closed the office and all in-office services this week. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with contactless pick up this week as we will not have any staff in the office while we have a deep office disinfection procedure performed by an outside cleaning service. We realize that this may be a hardship or inconvenience for some of our patients, and we will do our best to make it up to you.
In the meantime, should anyone have any urgent medical need to speak to one of our doctors, please call the office number and follow the prompts to page the doctor on call. We will try to help you via a phone call or video "Telehealth," or we will connect you with one of our affiliated doctors or specialists.
We are confident we minimized exposure to our patients by following CDC guidelines. We do not believe that any patient or client of Madison Eyes is of high risk of exposure to Covid.
We are, however, recommending that any patient or client that has concerns about their possible exposure in our office during the period from February 4th-February 8th, to get tested for Covid.
We are aiming to reopen Monday, February 15.
